(This is an alternative assignment for Problem Set 5's Question 2 to be used only by students without programming experience. In this problem, you will identify how in-home IoT devices (e.g., smart tvs, smart light, smart locks etc.) might violate user privacy. Turn in the following: 1. Describe four separate cases (Two paragraphs each) where smart devices can violate Helen Nissenbaum's notion of contextual integrity [1]. For each case, your report should include the case description (include a citation if such privacy violations happened in real world) and an explanation of how it violates contextual integrity. 2. Daniel Solove provided a taxonomy of privacy violations [2]. Explain which elements of this taxonomy of privacy violations are possible in relation to current IoT devices, as well as why. Also explain which of these privacy violations do not appear to be possible in relation to current IoT devices, as well as why not. In each case, include a citation if such privacy violations already occurred in the real world. You should plan to write 1-2 paragraphs per item in the taxonomy.
